3rd Miss Pitogo Islands Feeding Program

Yesterday, November 18, 2015 was the date for the 3^rd feeding program made possible by the Miss Pitogo Islands Organization.

There were more than 30 pupils in the grade three class in San Jose Elementary School who were one of the wave of beneficiaries of the feeding program.

Before the feeding program started, reigning Miss Pitogo Islands Roxan Abad introduced herself to the pupils and explained a little bit about the organization’s project.

“Hello, kids. I am Roxan Abad and I am this year’s reigning Miss Pitogo Islands. We are here in your classroom to have our feeding program and it is because you are the third wave of the beneficiaries of this feeding program that the Miss Pitogo Islands Organization is having month after month,” Roxan said with an engaging smile. “As the reigning Miss Pitogo Islands, I want to make even just a little difference and that is to help avoid malnutrition”.

The class adviser, Mrs. Glecy Ando smiled when asked about what she felt about the feeding program. “This feeding program that you have sets you apart from other pageants that are mushrooming here in our municipality. And I am more than thankful that finally you are here in my class. I wish that the pageant will last and more blessings to come to the people who have been supporting the Miss Pitogo Islands Organization and most especially to its chairman”.

After the activity, the organization received a collective ‘thank you’ from the happy grade three pupils.

Next up will be the grade four class.

MISS PITOGO ISLANDS 2015 2nd FEEDING PROGRAM

We have announced last time that we will continue the feeding program that we started. The feeding program that we had last time was in September 8, 2015. That was a successful event.

Yesterday, October 13, 2015 was the date for the second feeding program made by the MISS PITOGO ISLANDS ORGANIZATION. The feeding program was again held in San Jose Elementary School particularly in the grade two class.

There were more than 30 pupils that were present and had enjoyed their feeding.

“We need to continue what we have started to prove that we are really living with our mission that is to help and encourage the children”, the chairman of  Miss Pitogo Islands Organization, Mr. Edrian B. Abad said. “This is one of our ways in helping these children and we pray that we are serving also as inspiration and as good role models to other people of the populace”.

“Thank you so much for you really come up with this idea. Helping these kids is really a heart-touching act”, Mrs. Florena A. Remate, the grade two class adviser said with a smile.

The pupils had thanked the visitors for their kindness. The hopeful pupils were very happy. Seeing them smiling was a sight to behold.

We do hope and pray that we can do another successful activity as this.
