Visiting Miss Pitogo Isldands 2016

Yesterday,  August  29,  2016,  at  3:00  p.m.,  we  paid  a  visit  to  the  newly  crowned  Miss  Pitogo  Islands  2016  Michaella  Cutanda  in  her  home place  at  Barangay  Saguise,  Pres.  Carlos  P.  Garcia,  Bohol.

She  welcomed  us  with  here  mother  with  poise  and  grace  even  though  she  had  no  make  up  and  the  sun  was  still  scorching  hot.

We  asked  for  a  picture  with  Barangay  Saguise  Captain  Mrs.  Margie  Mendez  but  she  refused  for  she  was  not  well.  A  lady  named  Sarah,  a  barangay  health  worker,  showed  us  the  way  and  also  to  get  inside  the  barangay  hall.

After  the  picture  taking,  Miss  Pitogo  Islands  2016  Michaella  Cutanda  took  us  to  her  house.

She  also  showed  us  how  much  she  and  her  family  love  nature.  Then  we  planted  some  tungki (mangrove) seedlings.

Most  of  the  people  here  in  Pres.  Carlos  P.  Garcia,  Bohol  are  fishermen  and  rely  much  in  what  they  could  get  from  the  sea.  Mangroves  can  help  so  much  to  the  people  for  aside  from  being  a  shelter  to  most  of  the  sea  lives  it  is  also  effective  in  defying  the  big  waves  created  during  storms  and  typhoons.

Michaella  is  such  a  blessing  to  the  organization  and  to  the  whole  municipality.  With  the  purity  of  her  heart  that  leads  her  to  do  good  things,  the  organization  really  is  more  than  thankful.

By  the  way,  we  had  so  much  fun  during  this  day.  Thank  you  guys  for  the  warm  welcome.
